Delgado New York was founded by Juan Delgado Martinez. Juan was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to hard working parents and is the youngest of five children. He arrived in Westchester, New York at a very young age where his fascination for art, beauty and curiosity to learn about other cultures, was piqued by the melting pot that is New York. At a very young age he always believed “the sky's the limit” and the American Dream was among the stars. Embarking on the journey of opening his own brand was enlightening because design was an outlet to express feelings with no words and a beautiful way to tell his story as well as society’s untold stories. With a love of art and an eye that found beauty in the everyday, Juan was a daydreamer; an outgoing person that enjoys bringing people together. Fashion served as an outlet that provided the opportunity for self expression and the ability to lead with a smile. Delgado New York is Juan Delgado personified.
