Elindesign Jewellery is run by designer Elin Zoenso. Elin works mainly by hand and the signum is raw surfaces and play with proportions and forms. She grew up in the contryside and the organic shapes are often seen in her work, inspired from nature. Other pieces of work are more urban inspired, from lines in the pavement, shadow on a wall or architectural influences. The matt or raw surfade is a constant theme. "I want my pieces of jewellery to express beauty in imperfection... I want them to stand proud and shine, be royalistic. But at the same time permit the non perfect, the incorrect, to create an interesting dance. When perfection seem to be sought after, there are often a twist, if you look close" Elin Zoenso begun her artistic approach within fine art, but at an early age decided to focus on jewellery. She has studied at several schools of design, art and jewelry design in Sweden and took her degree at Alchimia Contemporary Jewellery School in Italy. For several years she attended shows and exhibitions and at the same time created her brand "Elindesign Jewellery" Today she is one of the most prominent jewellery designer in Sweden.
