HavenHeart Jewelry designs is the dream of its founder, Nina Glueckselig. Growing up in NYC to an artistic family, she began making beaded jewelry as a teenager during the hippie era. She came back to this early passion while in social work school where she fashioned herself a pair of earrings that a classmate then wanted. At the end of the school year, she was making jewelry for everyone in her class and HavenHeart was born.

Each one-of-a-kind strand of beaded jewelry is meticulously hand strung by Nina with a diverse selection of sterling Indonesian, Thai and Indian beads, as well as semi-precious and precious stones such as tourmaline, turquoise, sugilite, aquamarine, peridot, kyanite, ruby, sapphire and emerald. The pieces range from more classical to whimsical to edgy, at times incorporating talismanic components—goddess, bear, fish, frog. Some necklaces are crocheted, some hand knotted or wire wrapped. The pieces stand the test of time, adapting to new trends in fashion.
