Lucie Markova is a Prague-based fashion designer whose work moves between fashion, art, and philosophy. From her atelier in Prague, she creates sculptural garments that explore the relationship between body, material, and space.
Her designs combine precise construction with innovative European textiles, including technical fabrics developed by the Swiss pioneer Schoeller Textiles. Many of the materials originate from surplus collections of European mills, reflecting her commitment to sustainability and the idea that the future of fashion lies in rethinking what already exists.
Markova’s latest project, Fabricon 7, expands fashion into a conceptual universe where garments become experimental objects and tools for transforming perception. In this world, clothing is not only worn – it becomes an event that reshapes the presence of the body.
Her work has been presented internationally and has received the Best Artistic Fashion Award 2025 and the Honored Fashion Designer Award 2024 (Female) at the Qatar International Art Festival.
