Dr. Melodie Davis-Bundrage, a SCAD survivor (known as the healthy woman's heart attack/artery dissection) and mom of a special needs child, created LUV + CO. after researching how health disparities link to color cosmetics for her dissertation. As a former MUA, she studied how to develop products that won't exacerbate those health disparities such as heart disease, ADHD, reproductive challenges and breast cancer.
