Sofie and Iris is founded in 2023 by Sofie Skovlund Poulsen, textile designer and artist. She works from her workshop in Copenhagen, Denmark. Sofie has an artistic and personal approach when designing fashion accessories. She wants to offer something else than the mass production of impersonal fast and ultra fast fashion. Every design is either limited in number or only available as an one-of-kind creation. So when you see something you like - go get it! Joy, color and craftsmanship are always key elements in the designs from Sofie and Iris. The slow work of the hand is highly valued and creates imperfectly perfect textured surfaces - all unique - especially when the designs are created with hand dyed yarns. When creating Sofie has a collaboration with her muse Iris, who is the personification of the rainbow from Greek mythology. Iris whispers colorful and playful design ideas in the ear of Sofie making her spread color into the world. Sofie's intention with her creations is for you to feel joy, to make you and the people around you smile, that they add something special in your already existing wardrobe - and that you have fun expressing yourself freely with color!
