Whet Blu is a New York based outerwear brand that specializes in luxury Leather & Vegan products. Our classic approach to design with modern touches help men and women alike show off their individual style and self expression. We offer up to 5X in plus sizes on our website, along with custom jackets. Whet Blu started in 2012 that specializes in luxury leather jackets. First MFG is our parent company that is mostly male dominated. Our Creative director Elaine was designing fashionable jackets under First, when she found a missing niche for modern leather jackets. She developed Whet Blu with the backing of First MFG using their techniques and knowledge in motorcycle gear. Leaving the bulky protective leather behind for more light weight everyday wear. We also operate and manufacture through our own eco-friendly tannery and factory. Our ability to participate in Social Good campaigns helps us give back to the Earth that provides us with so much. Our factory is also WRAP Approved which consists of rigorous testing to provide the best possible workspace for our employees.
