The stunning necklace is created by using my signature bead embroidery method, handstitching a bezel using gold coated Japanese glass beads around a found object. The object in this piece is a rare indigenous Hawaiian scallop shell, which is also known as Sunrise Shell, or Langford‘s pectin. The back of the pendant is finished with soft ultra suede for comfort and style, and the pendant is hung from an adjustable 18”+ strand made of olive green keshi pearls. All shells and pearls are sustainably sourced, no live shells ever taken.
