This necklace began with the pendant, which is created by using the bead embroidery technique, where gold coated Japanese glass beads are stitched around a found object to create a bezel. The found object in this piece Is a juicy and rare deep, orange Carnelian druzy. The crystals are formed when air and water gets trapped in a rock over thousands to millions of years, creating intricate crystal clusters and formations. The back of the pendant is finished with ultra suede for softness and style. The pendant is then hung from a strand of beads and leather. The beads are faceted Prehnite, Citrine, Carnelian, and yellow Opal. The findings are 14 karat gold, and this necklace is an adjustable 24 inches.
