Janice Marie Jewelry, Yellow Lotus Necklace

This necklace is created by using the bead embroidery method, where tiny gold coated Japanese glass beads are stitched around an object to create a bezel which forms the pendant. The pendant in this necklace is a handmade vintage piece of pottery that was cut and shaped for this piece. The back of the pendant is lined with ultras suede for comfort and style. The pendant hangs off a strand of yellow fire opals, and the findings are 14 karat gold filled. The length of this necklace is an adjustable 20 inches finished with pink chalk turquoise at the end of the extender chain.
