SBB The Collection Silver Silver Earrings

These soft hoop earrings brushed with a satin finish, part of a bigger collection by SBB The Collection, are based around the concept of sea glass in how it mirrors the human journey, in the same way glass will undertake a journey of rough and tumble when it enters the sea. It can shatter, roll, get knocked, beaten and spun, slowly eroding, appearing worn down, only to emerge an entirely new entity, softened and textured, often more beautiful than its original state and kinder to whatever it comes into contact with, much like humans, after a tough run of it. At SBB The Collection we envisioned our play on the classic hoop, sitting on the ocean floor, slowly eroding over time, only to be washed up, worn and exquisitely softened, perfectly imperfect, with a newly negative space, and all its rolls, nooks and crannies to celebrate.
