SBB The Collection Silver Silver Ring

This Sterling Silver weird and wobbly ring, part of a bigger collection by SBB The Collection, is based around the concept of sea glass in how it mirrors the human journey, in the same way glass will undertake a journey of rough and tumble when it enters the sea. It can shatter, roll, get knocked, beaten and spun, slowly eroding, appearing worn down, only to emerge an entirely new entity, softened and textured, often more beautiful than its original state and kinder to whatever it comes into contact with, much like humans, after a tough run of it. We envisioned this piece, sitting on the ocean floor, slowly eroding over time, only to be washed up, worn and exquisitely softened, perfectly imperfect, with all its rolls, nooks and crannies and a newly negative space that acts as a frame displaying the beautiful skin you are in.
