UMBI Charm – Letter A

The letter ‘A’ was first used in the
1800s – upside down! It looked like
the head of an inverted animal.
Indeed, the first inscriptions used
animal symbols instead of letters.
Coming from the Greek ‘alpha’, in
the ancient Semitic language, the
letter ‘A’ meant
leader and strong.
