About Ark in Ink

Launched by UOB Hong Kong in 2017, the UOB Art in Ink Awards is an annual flagship event dedicated to fostering the development and appreciation of ink art. The Awards invites Hong Kong residents aged nine and above to participate. Winning artworks, selected by an independent panel of judges, have the opportunity to be exhibited in Hong Kong and beyond. By focusing on this traditional medium rooted in Chinese culture, the Awards aims to inspire creativity and innovation while uncovering local artistic talents through their outstanding artworks.

Presented by UOB Hong Kong in collaboration with the UOB Art Academy as the Art Partner, the Awards embodies UOB Hong Kong's belief in the power of art to strengthen social bonds and enrich lives. Inaugurated in 2015, the UOB Art Academy serves as a creative hub to connect communities. Living the motto 'Art in Heart, Ink for All', the UOB Art Academy endeavours to promote ink art, rejuvenate traditional culture and contribute to a more sustainable future in the community. The UOB Art Academy is now a registered charity in Hong Kong.
