wearable art: Every evening after work, Peter slipped into the same bar, order a drink, and read a chapter from whatever book he into at the time. That night, as he settled into my usual spot, he noticed her—sitting alone, her eyes glued to her phone, looking exhausted from the weight of her day. Normally, Peter would keep to himself but he had to know her name; he asked her if she ever let her mind wander away from work. To his surprise, she actually smiled. They exchanged names, and by the end of the night, Peter realized that maybe—just maybe—he'd found someone worth putting down his book for. He was disappointed when they parted ways, but not even a minute later, Piper was running after him. And the rest was history.
